Road Trip USA – Day 9 – From Bakersfield to Fresno

Fresh eggs, waffles, pancakes, no need to say more. The breakfast at our hotel was fantastic today. Mariott is always top by the way!

Bye Bakersfield! We are ready to rumble!

We’re going towards Sequoia National Park. The base of the big redwood trees that can have a height up to 80m.

Today we are about 2000m high and the temperature is also going down to about 3 degrees. In other words, 30 degrees difference from yesterday. We drive through the park and in the places where it is cleared, we see a truly beautiful piece of nature. These 2000 year old trees are a delight for the eyes.

We spotted along the road some wild deers. The views are amazing here!

Enough trees for today, we still have a ride ahead to Fresno. A drive around 2h from the exit of Sequoia National Park.

After checking into our hotel we enjoy a delicious sushi dinner.
