Big bus tours + Madame Tussauds

It’s our first weekend in Shanghai (sept. ’15) and we’re going out to explore this big city.
We live in Xujiahui and our apartment is only 5 minutes walking distance to the subway.
Currently, the Shanghai Metro system is the world’s largest rapid transit system by route length and second largest by number of stations with 14 lines and 364 stations totaling 588 kilometers. Isn’t that just amazing? We can go everywhere we want for a very cheap price!

First we go to Madame Tussauds, which to be honest, was full of Chinese wax-figures we didn’t know any of them. Of course, we could find Michael Jackson, Elvis, Brad Pitt and other famous world-stars.
So the 170 RMB (23 EUR) we paid wasn’t all for nothing.

Afterwards we take the Big Bus Tours, hop on, hop off and explore it all with their Shanghai bus tour.

We pass the most touristic places such as: The Bund, Jade Buddha Temple, Xintiandi, Oriental Pearl Tower Televison, and many more.

I would definitely recommended it, if you are visiting Shanghai for the very first time!
